F61 leather sealant should be applied every 6 months after each professional
cleaning.
Leather and fabric sealant is a product that you can apply to all your cycling clothes
your motorcycling kit, your boots, your shoes, your car chairs, your leather
briefcase…. Any leather or fabric items that require protection.
It waterproofs and seals from dirt. So if you take an item of clothing and you spray it,
leave it for 30 minutes to dry and reapply it. The item is now water-resistant and dirt-resistant.
The best demonstration of this product, is to spray a sheet of tissue paper, allow it to
dry, and then lightly pour water onto the tissue paper. The water will not penetrate or
wet the tissue paper. On fabric, the same will apply to both water and dirt.
Apply generously, allow to dry, and reapply. Applying heat by tumble drying after
application extends the life of the application.
